I became fascinated with colour, pattern and form at an early age. Growing up with a mother who would make beautiful outfits and accessories, and a father who was a draughtsman- with a great mind for engineering- it was the perfect environment to nurture creativity, influenced by a practical and pragmatic approach. It was no surprise to anyone that I went on to study Art & Design at A level. Building on these strong foundations, I went on to complete a BA (Hons) Degree in Design at Loughborough University.
I take the view that every project is different, each space requires its own approach and every client will have their own preferences. At Et Lorem, we focus on the whole customer journey; taking the time to understand your individual project, your requirements and your preferences. This results in a design solution that is bespoke and unique to you.
We are very fortunate to be able to work with a wide range of products at Et Lorem, which gives us multiple design and style options. My favourite style is Industrial design- with clean lines and beautiful proportions, which I soften by adding textures such as wood, mirrored glass and stunning worktops. When paired with more muted colours, it can create a welcoming and peaceful environment.
I live in Reading with my husband and our two, lively and lovable, rescue dogs. Our spare time is spent exploring the British countryside in our Campervan.
