Cotswolds, Lower Mill Estate

As the official kitchen supplier to the Lower Mill Estate in the picturesque Cotswolds; it’s always exciting when we meet new property owners to discover their design aspirations, as no two kitchen briefs are ever the same. In one of our latest projects, we have successfully created a central haven to the luxury holiday home, where timeless elegance meets modern convenience.

The Lower Mill Estate is known for its stunning natural beauty and serene surroundings. Our task was to design a kitchen that would complement this idyllic location while meeting the needs of our client’s holiday home. With an initial design consultation at our Reading Studio, in Berkshire, we embarked on a journey to create a kitchen that would capture the essence of the estate and exceed the client’s expectations.

To bring a touch of countryside charm and sophistication, we opted for Masterclass Hardwick Shaker furniture in Hunter Green. This choice not only complements the surrounding Cotswolds landscape but also adds a sense of timeless appeal to the space.

The combination of Hunter Green kitchen furniture with visible woodgrain, and Portland Oak internal carcases and draw boxes adds depth and texture to the kitchen, elevating it’s elegance. This design decision harmonises the kitchen with the natural beauty that surrounds the Lower Mill Estate.

A kitchen is more than just its appearance; it’s about functionality, efficiency and convenience. To ensure that our design not only looked stunning but also worked seamlessly, we selected the finest materials and appliances. The Silestone Lusso worktops added a touch of luxury while providing durability and ease of maintenance.

For our cooking enthusiasts, we integrated state-of-the-art appliances from renowned brands BORA and Siemens. These appliances meet culinary and enhance the overall cooking experience. Additionally, we incorporated a Quooker boiling water tap, offering the convenience of instant hot water access. The BLANCO sink added the perfect finishing touch, combining practicality with aesthetics.

This Lower Mill Estate project is a true reflection of Et Lorem’s design philosophy: creating spaces that are not only visually beautiful but also functional and tailored to each of our clients’ very specific needs. By blending the charm of the Cotswolds with cutting-edge design concepts and the latest appliances, we have achieved a kitchen that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

If you’re considering a kitchen transformation that merges style, functionality, and innovation, Et Lorem is here to turn your vision into reality. From initial design consultations to the final touches, we bring passion and expertise to every project.
